Well, that took a really long time. But it was worth it! I think this is the best painting that I have ever done, PROPS to those who critiqued the WIP, I also thank Penciljack [link] for putting up some crits fer me.

I figured that refining details are imporant, even though it's not necessary at times (just leave things sketch like). Cinderblock was especially hard to do, since I can't shade blocks for crap, its something I'm not used to. As for those details on Terra, I wanted to make her suit look REAL with a variation of materials, and color played an important role (I've been messing with color for the past 2 weeks, ehghad its hard to understand how it works, I had to think in photons and spectrum and whatnot), but eventually I found that that using a single color can be achieved depending on chromacity...blabla. Certain materials were studied, bla. Bla.

I listened to a shitload of heavy metal while doing this. Fear Factory's demanufacture gave that...AWESOME killer-machine like sound that was important to this pic, and Soilwork gave the feeling necessary to capture Terra's loss of innocence.

Plasmus kicks ass.
