In order to view the movie (or function properly), you must have the DIVX codec installed: [link] well...thats it...* bows, then dies* Slave labor...squared This is for the Sonic club-classics Contest. I had to do this, while school just started, while I got a job, in the midst of situational crap, with lack of sleep. I even developed a strain in my neck for this. I was thinking to myself, many many times..."I really should get a crew or something." But its all about learning...to be multitalented in some degree. I mean...sound effects, damn...the ANIMATION alone was hard enough. Rendering, keeping my computer(s) on for 2 days straight just rendering these several second scenes. But...Uh oh... *deadline for classics contest flashes in mind*...ok, you get the idea. I thought I would never be able to complete this, and was about to render a still picture, but it came out better than I expected, and things were getting easier as I got to familiarize myself with max's "cryptic" interface. A couple setbacks The music, was a difficult decision to make. It was either the sonic 2 theme for genesis, or a remix...and I didnt get to find a remix that suited my taste for a couple of ending scenes. If I had more time, I would've gone ahead and made some of my own music....but I see homework piling up, stuff going on, I would never be able to finish on time. This was probably the only time besides tomorrow to put this up. So...yeah, if you like it, thats awesome, if you dont, I'll know why. As for sound effects, I think they're fine, given the time. Learned...stuffs Holy shit. I think I just mastered 3dsmax, as a beginner of course. Going through the explosions were hard, but I learned enough to not rely on tutorials with premade settings. I learned about the ALL MIGHTY curve editor and dope sheet, I even found a way to fake distance blur. This was definetely a learning experience In addition to this: Screenshots are on their way, maybe some behind the scenes if I have time :/ I have a couple of notes taken, as well as renders. The notes might be useful to some of you max users...ehh..thats unless your a master. Deviant thank-you(s) I included almost every single deviant I could find that has supported me, and put them in the credits. It's my way of saying thank you. No, its not favoritist and all that bullshit, its a serious thanks. If I missed you (ill know who you are), PLEASE, just tell me. It may not be a big deal to you...but I cannot sleep, knowing that your arent on...yeah. I also did this because, it was a 3 minute song, and well, the credits would've been AGONIZINGLY SLOW if I havent put anything on XD Thats all folks Eh, maybe this movie was short, but it's definetely an extended version of Sonic 2's Ending. I hope you enjoy this (if not...I stab you *looks down*...*head explodes* Daily DeviationGiven 2005-09-09Sonic 2 ending Movie by ~Chris-Supernerd is a superior 3D animation that shows this individual's dedication to not only his craft but to his pieces as a whole. L0vely!!!!
My fucking hero. That was the most amazing Sonic based thing I have ever seen. Hell, it could just may as well be the most amazing thing I've ever seen. These new sonic games? With this new look? Fuck. That. You should be designing a remake of Sonic 2 over at SoA. That would be a great game.
Eitherway though, this goes on my favorites list without a second thought. You have totally made my summer.

"Will Piccoho hold that face for a whole episode? Find out on the next explosive episode of Lizard Sphere Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx!!!!!!!!!"
Okay first off, the rendering is brilliant...so smooth and clean, hell it looks better than the auctual video games O_o; The backgrounds are amazingly well detailed as are the special effects such as the explosions ect. You mastered the "old school" style in the new school 3D...that alone is a godly feat. The "Dreams Come True" soundtrack also adds to the jaw dropping sex of this XD
And that's real great of you to add the names of the deviants who supported you. It's good to know we influence you

-"We broke it. Yes, we were naughty. Completely naughty. So so verry sorry. But just between you and us, it felt quite good."
There's two things that could have been done to make it better besides the music part which you've already mentioned. One, you could've made him transform into Super Sonic at the end.
Second, when he was running from the flames, his legs looked kinda odd when he was runing. But I guess it's hard to make him run super fast and make it look right at the same time.
I oughta fucking slap myself because of that. I noticed I missed other important ppl. I'll redo the credits and see who needs to get on, virtualdub is pretty lenient when it comes to working with segments
I feel so honored to make it into the special thanks of such an AWESOME rendition of the Sonic 2 ending. And believe it or not, I'm glad you used the original tunes. You'd be suprised how well nostalgia works.
Bravo, man. And thank you.

THAT'S.
JUST.
GREAT.
Awright, asskissing aside. Seriously man, you did a great job. The Eggrobo was awesome. The space scene was just killer, and the reentry was just cool. OH! And the classic rollover into the "Eyes fade to black", genious. Kudos man, I cant say it enough. Shoot, I would have just been happy to see the scene I mentioned to you before from way back, but this?! My god... You've inspired me, lol.
Fav+ and I'm holding on to this movie to show you off to some Animation pals in florida (if its ok with you)
Awesome, just awesome...
