I love magic the gathering. LOVE. My cousin
 wanted to make his own creatures, lands, enchantments, and spells. He wanted me to draw an ancient river (ancient, indicating the presence of mystical power). I agreed and started painting it, and at first, I didnt know where I was going to go with it, because I've never done SCENERY before, well, full blown scenery without characters.But I did exactly what almost every painting tutorial points out: BLOCK OUT SHAPES FIRST. And it worked. I also added some foilage and effects with photoshop  Overall, I'm REALLY proud of this pic  My inspiration was pretty much the Magic The gathering artwork...I cry in happiness  |
